For the past fifty-some years, the Baltimore Homa Community has been a spiritual anchor in this city, across the state, even into DC. We have shared Homa fire wherever we are, teaching Agnihotra, demonstrating with our personal lives the endless benefits of practicing this daily discipline.
On March 25th, 2023 we celebrated the 22nd anniversary of 24 hour Yajnya in Tapovan.
It is a great achievement and hearty congratulations to all who have contributed, whether it be by giving their time to perform the Yajnya in shifts, or financial support or any other support which has been given over the many years.
Since the year 2022 Homa Therapy teachers Gillian and Dennis Jansen from the Netherlands started a new chapter in the journey to share the knowledge of Agnihotra and Homa Therapy and took this fully onto the stage.
At long last, Volumes 1-13 of Satsang are available online. The early volumes of Satsang are important because they contain so much of Shree Vasant’s teachings; they also chronicle the spread of Agnihotra around the world.

September 22, 2022 marked the 49th anniversary of the Parama Dham Fire Temple in Madison, Virginia. Inaugurated by Shree Vasant in 1973, Parama Dham was the first Fire Temple in the world established under Parama Sadguru Shree Gajanan Maharaj’s dispensation of resuscitation of the ancient science of atmospheric purification for the New Age. The name Parama Dham, which means House of Almighty Father, was chosen by Maharaj Shree.
In a Fire Temple, there is no priest and nothing is worshipped. Agnihotra atmospheric purification technique is performed there twice daily at sunrise and sunset. A fixed set of mantras is chanted after Agnihotra. With the exception of the mantras, silence is observed in the Fire Temple at all times. The atmosphere becomes supercharged with healing energies.
On July 2nd, 2022, after a break of 2 years, our Agnihotra summer meeting could take place again at Homa-Hof Heiligenberg in Germany. The motto was: For peace and unity. Great harmony and peace could be felt throughout the day with almost 600 people who came from near and far, many also from Switzerland and Austria.
While Homa farming has been found to yield excellent and sometimes amazing results, not everyone can have a Homa farm; a number of disciplines must be observed, and at least several people will be needed to meet the requirements. However, home gardeners have experienced wonderful results when Agnihotra and other Homa fires have been done in or near their gardens.
On May 18, we fulfilled the 7 days of continuous Om Tryambakam Homa globally – an achievement accomplished through the union of many Agnihotris. The average of Tryambakam Homa practiced daily was 160 hours – illuminating hearts.
We in Poland are witnessing the effects of war in neighboring Ukraine. Refugees are fleeing, the borders are full. Poland has opened its arms and hearts to gather Ukrainians and welcome them to their homeland. Other countries also are taking in refugees. We see the sorrow and anxiety the refugees carry, often having been separated from family members, having fled their homes, jobs, culture. Lives in turmoil.
Ecovillage Bhrugu Aranya is less than four hours from the Ukrainian border. We are in a unique position to be able to help during these troubling, uncertain times. We are honored to have this opportunity.
