Agnihotra Pyramids-the Scientific Meaning

There has been some confusion about which pyramids can be used for the Agnihotra
process, as there are some pyramids on the market which differ in size, shape and/or
material from the Agnihotra pyramids which we have been using for decades now.
As this Agnihotra copper pyramid is an essential element of Agnihotra, this is an
important subject. Let us look into it in more detail.
First we have compiled some of the statements from ancient Vedic knowledge about
the role of this copper pyramid in the Agnihotra process, as given in the writings of
Shree Vasant Paranjpe.
Shree Vasant on Agnihotra pyramids
“A copper pyramid of fixed size is used in the process of Agnihotra healing fire.”–Homa
Therapy, Our Last Chance, Fivefold Path, Inc., 1989, p.14.
“Copper and gold are the only metals prescribed for the pyramid container used for
Agnihotra fire. It is common knowledge of all ancient traditions all over the planet that
copper and gold have healing properties. According to science of HOMA Therapy there
is only a slight difference between the healing properties of gold and copper when used as
pyramid containers for preparing Agnihotra fire.” Ibid., 13.
“There is a sound that emanates from the Agnihotra pyramid….
“Much energy, much positive energy, much healing energy emanates from the Agnihotra
pyramid….
“In addition to other effects, at certain intervals bursts of energy emanate from the
Agnihotra copper pyramid, depending on the phase of the moon and the position of the
Earth in relation to the sun. These bursts of energy thrust nutrients and fragrance through
the solar range, having a profound impact on the mind.
“Tremendous amounts of energy are gathered around the Agnihotra copper pyramid
just at Agnihotra time. A magnetic-type field is created, one which neutralizes negative
types of energy and reinforces positive types of energy. Therefore, a positive pattern is
created by one who does Agnihotra merely by his/her performance.” Ibid., 19-20.
“The pyramid is the generator, the fire, the turbine.”–Agnihotra flier, Fivefold Path, Inc.
“The energies spiral in a counter clockwise fashion when coming from the Agnihotra
pyramid because a tremendous amount of impact and acceleration of those energies is
generated that way. Also as the energies move in an upward direction, they are simul-
taneously moving outward from the copper pyramid in all directions, thereby spreading
the effects of Agnihotra to a wider area. There is, though, a concentration of those
energies thrust to the North. The word ‘thrust’ is important here.:” Ibid., 22.
“The pyramid, that vessel of a particular shape and size is the generator. It guides and
directs the energy in a perfect way, in a direction that has a particular configuration
which has an effect on what is really man, the soul.” Ibid., 19.
“The specific frequencies of the different steps of the pyramid could be measured if a
scientist wishes to put his mind into it. The most intensive sound waves have their
origins at the four sides of the pyramid, forming a small angle. From inside the pyramid a standing wave of a certain frequency is sent out.”–Homa Therapy, Our Last Chance,
Fivefold Path Publications, 2005, chapter 12, 3rd paragraph.
“Just at morning Agnihotra time all the electricities, energies, ethers are attracted to the
pyramid in its shape. At sunset these energies are thrust out in the same shape….
“For Agnihotra you require a copper pyramid of specific size. Copper is a conductor for
subtle energies also.”–Agnihotra flier, Fivefold Path, Inc.
Some of these statements from the ancient Science of Vedas are still difficult to understand in terms of modern science. But what we do understand is that the Agnihotra pyramid is a scientific tool which works on sound (vibration) and resonance. Important features of this tool which affect production and resonance of sound are size, shape, and material.
Size
For sound, the size of the vibrating parts of an instrument is crucial; e.g. if you change the
length of the strings of a guitar by just a few centimeters, the sound generated would be
changed.
Similarly with the Agnihotra pyramid, if you change the size, the resulting vibrations would also change and thus affect the healing properties of this Agnihotra fire.
The specific size and shape of our Agnihotra pyramid were not available in the market
(although there are pyramids of different sizes and shapes used in other traditional
havans in India). Shree Gajanan Maharaj told one disciple to prepare a copper pyramid of
this specific size and shape, and all the pyramids which are sold by Certified Homa Therapy Centres use these specifications.
It was interesting to hear what one senior scientist from Eastern Europe said when he
examined the Agnihotra pyramid the first time. He was very much astonished and
mentioned that only a genius could have designed this Agnihotra pyramid. He found
so many mathematically astonishing relations in the pyramid, such as several ratios
containing pi, and e (the basis of natural logarithms; next to pi, a fundamentally
important mathematical constant).
Shape
“The specific frequencies of the different steps of the pyramid could be measured if a
scientist wishes to put his mind into it. The most intensive sound waves have their
origins at the four sides of the pyramid, forming a small angle. From inside the
pyramid a standing wave of a certain frequency is sent out.”
From this description it is clear that changing the shape (the angles of the sides, the proportions of the three steps, the edge) would change the way sound is emitted from the
steps of the different sides. Also this standing wave could be affected.
One Eastern European physicist mentioned that if you keep the Agnihotra pyramid at a
certain height there would be a sound sent to all of your seven chakras: from the bottom of
the pyramid your heart chakra would be reached, from the three steps of the side next
to you your three lower chakras, and from the opposite side of the pyramid the three
upper chakras.
Many years ago someone in Poland had the idea to put a raised dot on one side of the
pyramid, which makes it easier to always keep the pyramid facing the same direction
(which we now need for installing resonance systems). Only after we showed this pyramid
to Shree Gajanan Maharaj (who at that time still was in the physical body) and got His
approval, we continued with the production.
Recently some pyramids came on the market with embossed letters on the edge (rim). This
will definitely interfere with the functioning of the Agnihotra pyramid as a scientific tool.
These pyramids cannot be used for Agnihotra.
Examples of pyramids which cannot be used
for Agnihotra:
- The sides of the pyramid have handles attached
- Words are embossed on the edge
Material: Copper
“Copper and gold are the only metals prescribed for the pyramid container used for Agnihotra fire. It is common knowledge of all ancient traditions all over the planet that copper and gold have healing properties. According to science of HOMA Therapy there is only a slight difference between the healing properties of gold and copper when used as pyramid containers for preparing Agnihotra fire.”–Homa Therapy, Our Last Chance, Fivefold Path, Inc., 1989, p.13.
[In recent years, there has been considerable research on copper’s antimicrobial properties. Some U.S. hospitals have installed copper on frequently-touched surfaces that are easily contaminated by pathogens. An article from the NIH National Library of Medicine, an official U.S. government website, states, “It has been demonstrated that copper surfaces reduce the microbial burden of high touch surfaces in the hospital environment.” An article from the American Society for Microbiology website, November 8, 2019 states, “A new study has found that copper hospital beds in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) harbored an average of 95 percent fewer bacteria than conventional hospital beds, and maintained these low-risk levels throughout patients’ stay in hospital.”-Ed.]
One physicist stated that the crystal structure of copper is in the shape of a pyramid; therefore, we have a special resonance which will be disturbed if copper is adulterated. Thus, it is important that only pure copper is used for the production of copper pyramids. Best is
electrolytic quality virgin copper made from copper ore, not from recycled material. Recycled copper may contain traces of all kinds of other materials and of course the vibrations of the previous usage.
As prices of copper have more than tripled in the last eight years it is tempting for producers who see the production of pyramids just as business to add some cheaper metals to copper in order to increase profits. This is not so easy to see, but these other metals interfere with the vibrational effects of copper.
Do not bang or scrape the pyramid, as it will interfere with the crystalline structure of the
copper, thereby disrupting the Agnihotra process.
But even if you take proper care it happens that after years of performing Agnihotra
pyramids show some signs of long usage. The main thing is that the shape has to be
correct.
Sometimes it happens that some cracks or holes develop at the sides of Agnihotra
pyramids. These pyramids cannot be used for Homa fires any more. But instead of throwing them away, one could use them as pots for plants or bury them in the garden, as they still
contain the vibration of all the Homas performed in them.
Sometimes the shape of the pyramid changes; e.g. the edges or sides are no longer
flat but become undulated.
As the shape of our Agnihotra pyramid is essential, these pyramids also should not be
used any longer, but in this case you can repair the damage. One way is to send it back
to the producer who can easily press it back to shape again. Or, if you have access to a
stack of twenty new Agnihotra pyramids, you can put the damaged pyramid in the middle
(ten below, ten above )and then put pressure from above. This will help to get the used pyramid in shape again.
Similarly, when an Agnihotra pyramid falls on the ground and a corner is bent, you can
either use the same method, or you can put the edge with the bent corner on some hard
wood and then exert some pressure so that it will be even again. The main thing is that
when you look along the top edge and along the sides, they must be straight. Also when
looking from above into the pyramid, all sides should be square to each other (90
degrees).
How to be sure?
How to be sure that a pyramid you buy is of correct size, shape, and material for
Agnihotra?
The best way is to buy only from Homa centres run by certified Homa Therapy
teachers.
There, the main focus is to teach Homa Therapy in its pure form and support others
to practise it. No compromise in quality of the materials will be made there, as Homa
Therapy is the first priority, not profit.
A list of such centres can be found at www.agnihotra.org and www.homatherapy.org.
Also, you can recognize these centres by the offical Homa Therapy logo. It is a registered trademark which, by law, can only be used by official Homa Therapy centers.

Once again, Homa Therapy Teachers Abel Hernandez and Aleta Macan have organized a global program of Om Tryambakam Homa. We encourage everyone who is able, to participate and fill the world with the healing energy of Homa throughout this time.-Ed.
New Publication of Shree Vasant’s Teachings
Ed.
The Work Must Go On, a new publication of Shree Vasant Paranjpe’s teachings, is now available from Amazon.com, either in paperback or Kindle.
Parama Sadguru Shree Gajanan Maharaj revived the ancient teachings of Agnihotra and Fivefold Path in modern times, for the benefit of humanity. He left His mortal coil on 6th December 1987. This booklet is a transcript of the message Shree Vasant gave on April 8, 1988 to a group in Madison, Virginia. It reminds us that by observing these ancient teachings in our daily lives, the work of spreading wisdom, love and compassion continues.
Homa Therapy Experiences
Sherezada Melendez Carpio
Pucallpa, Peru, South America
I am 68 years old. A little over a year ago I entered EsSalud (social insurance hospital) to do Tai Chi, because I was sick. However, lately my problem has gotten worse.
First, I had the problem of tendonitis in my shoulders. At the very beginning, I had consultations with private physicians. I had private therapies, but I did not get better. Then, since I had no more money, I went to EsSalud, which is the state social insurance. Here, I started practicing Yoga and Tai Chi, but my problem was getting worse. I took many pills and other things, but I was not cured; I got worse. I could hardly move my left arm; I could no longer do Tai Chi with this arm.
At this time, Homa Therapy Teachers Abel Hernandez and Aleta Macan arrived at EsSalud here in Pucallalpa. I listened to them every day. I saw many testimonies. I took the Agnihotra ash and then got my Agnihotra kit. Now I am starting to practice this healing technique. But already on the third day of consuming the Agnihotra ash, I realized that I could do the complete Tai Chi practices. Now, it hurts very little, compared to how I was, when I could not use this arm. Now I feel great.
I am very grateful that this therapy came into my life and that many of us can take advantage of it. Apart from that, I have a lot of medicines that EsSalud gave me, but I do not take anything, I am only consuming the Agnihotra ash 3 times a day, and I am really happy!

With the buzzards
One day my friend Dorita told me that in her place she had some buzzards that entered the guest villas and caused a lot of damage and scared the guests. She had already called several of the companies that do these kinds of controls. But the solution they gave was that they would eliminate these birds. So, we chose to make an attempt using the Homa Therapy fires and talk to the head of the flock.
During Agnihotra, we mentally told the buzzard leader to welcome the buzzards that lived here back into his flock. And likewise, the buzzards living here, also received the information to leave this place and join the flock. Sure enough, after we did Om Tryambakam Homa in the four cardinal points of this area and in all the guest villas, they left. Three months later they returned. But Dorita made again the same request in front of the Agnihotra fire and since then, they have not returned.
My dream fulfilled
I had always dreamed of having a holistic wellness center to serve the community. Since I started practicing Agnihotra and other Homa fires permanently, I could fulfill my goals every day. My beautiful teacher, Dorita, shared with me her teachings about the Homa fires and I have been able to verify that one remains in balance and harmony from within the heart and one can help many people.
The ash of the basic Homa fire, called Agnihotra, is an ancient medicine that can be used for any problem, whether physical, mental or emotional. I have verified this in the support of my family and with people who attend the place where I am the guardian and where we, together with my daughter, are offering relaxation and meditation workshops.
Breath management, which I have learned through the Zoom room with Homa Therapy Teacher Abel Hernandez, has been of utmost importance for me and for all of us who do meditation here in this beautiful and blessed place in front of Lake Calima.
Our crops
We cultivate organic crops which are energized and nourished with the ashes of Homa Therapy. We do not use chemical products that poison the body. We take care of the environment through the daily practice of Agnihotra and Om Tryambakam Homa.
The important and amazing thing we see with Homa Therapy is that crops have protection against pests and diseases.
We see in the banana cultivation that we have very healthy and resistant plants, which retain their natural flavor and do not present internal or external damage.
Our beans are also resistant to pests and ants do not attack them.
Bocashi or ferment, which we also apply, is prepared with organic waste plus Homa ash.
Our banana production was 7 tons / ha; however, now with healthy and strong plants we achieve 8 tons/ha.
The variety of beans we have, usually produce 1 ton /ha and when Homa ash is applied, that amount increases to 1.5 tons/ha.
We conserve rainwater in reservoirs where we apply Agnihotra ash.
We have a water tank that stores 24,600 liters of water. We also place Agnihotra ash in the water sources on our farm. We care for and protect water sources in this way.
In addition to practicing Agnihotra daily, we apply Agnihotra ash and the ash of the other Homas everywhere and we see the fruits in a healthy, harmonious and strong environment.
Gratitude for this beautiful healing and naturally balancing technique. OM SHREE
From Shree Vasant’s Teachings
Agnihotra and Mind
Through the agency of Agnihotra fire, atmosphere is purified. This leads to automatic harmonious functioning of Prana, and Prana and mind being like two sides of the same coin, the purificatory effect is carried to the realm of the mind.
It is interesting to note the word for happiness in Sanskrit is “SUKHA” and its antithesis is “DUKHA.” SU means good and DU means bad. KHA means atmosphere. Happiness thus is merely good atmosphere and unhappiness is bad atmosphere. Agnihotra purifies the atmosphere, reduces disease in the area and brings nutrition to plant life.
Agnihotra and Plants
In Agnihotra atmosphere the metabolic process of plants is sped up. It is the ghee that is the catalytic factor and on a more subtle level the Mantras interacting with the combined effect of the burnt ghee and rice. This combination enters the soil after returning from the solar range. It enters the plants by, one might say, attaching itself to minerals and water absorbed by the root system of the plant. The ghee acts as a catalyst, creating a chemical reaction with the plant, aiding in enzyme and vitamin production and encouraging and increasing the cyclic rate. In other words, the plants mature faster, taste better and are better just by mere performance of Agnihotra in the garden.
On Yajnya
Yajnya is based on the science of vibration. So with Yajnya it is a whole science. Anything that goes into the Agnihotra process…to milking the cow, to making the butter, all have an effect on the potency of Yajnya.
Homa Therapy
A new window in physics will open if you care to investigate Yajnya, i.e. Homa Therapy. It is not mainly the nutritional mineral content of Agnihotra ash that you have to consider but a special phenomenon stated in science of Yajnya that Agnihotra ash gets activated when it comes into contact with anything living e.g. plant, animal or man. There is a sound that emanates from the ash and this heals.
Agnihotra, Science and Religion
Now more religious leaders are becoming interested in Agnihotra. What is it? Where does this fire come from? Actually it has its roots in all ancient religions. Science and religion become fused together. Actually, the Catholic Church has expressed interest in Agnihotra. This is not the first time.
“This vision about the evening and morning sacrifices which has been explained to you will come true. But keep it secret now, because it will be a long time before it does come true.”
–Daniel 8:26, The Good News Bible The Bible in Today’s English Version, American Bible Society, 1976.
This morning and evening sacrifice refers to Agnihotra pyramid fire practiced exactly at sunrise and sunset. If you miss the timings it is not Agnihotra. Agnihotra purifies the atmosphere, gives nourishment to plant life, cleanses water resources on the planet, clears thought pollution. Only solution now to negate the effects of harmful radiation is practice of Agnihotra on mass scale.
Fivefold Path for Happy Living
1. Yajnya
HOMA Therapy is the science of purification of the atmosphere through the agency of FIRE. AGNIHOTRA HOMA (YAJNYA) is the basic HOMA. It is tuned to the biorhythm of sunrise/sunset and gives nutrients to the plant kingdom, removes diseases in a certain area and removes tension on the mind. This is the basic process in the Vedic sciences of medicine, agriculture, climate engineering and interplanetary communication.
2. Daan
Sharing of your assets in a spirit of humility. This corrects imbalance in financial matters and creates non-attachment to worldly possessions.
3. Tapa
Self-discipline of body and mind. This is conducive to a change in attitudes of mind and body. It results in a harmonious state of mind.
4. Karma
“You reap as you sow.” Always practicing good Karma (actions) diminishes the burden of negative Karma and one begins to invest in his own future. This means that what you do today will bring its fruits. Sowing seeds of love and kindness will bless my garden with plenty of love. Do Karma for self-purification.
5. Swadhyaya
Practice Swadhyaya (Self-study) for liberation. Who am I? Why am I here? My work on this planet is to learn to react with total LOVE with each opportunity given to me.
This is the Fivefold Path for happy living on the planet. By practicing the Fivefold Path you become better members of your society, group, religion, community, etc.
